Traveling with kids is not always easy, especially when you want to tour museums and historic sites but all the kiddies want to do is run around. Well, that's what I'm here to help you with!
I've designed this tour to be accessible and engaging for kids so that they discover the history and traditions of my city in a way that's educational but also stimulating for them. Throughout the tour, we'll learn all about Florence and its art, architecture, and history, but in a manner that makes it approachable for kids (primarily with those aged 4 to 12 in mind).
I consider this an orientation tour, so it's perfect for first-timers and anyone who has just arrived to the city. We'll cover the main highlights of the historic center, from the Duomo and the principal streets, to Piazza della Signoria and the Ponte Vecchio.
We'll move at an easy pace, with lots of stops for gelato and treats, a scavenger hunt, and visits to artisan shops that are sure to keep the kids engaged and interested.
