Our tour guide was amazing! Chiro was extremely knowledgeable & funny, made the trip very pleasant.

Our tour guide, Serena was an excellant choice for us. Before I go on, I want to say how helpful and patient she was prior to us even getting to Italy. Lots of emails back and forth. She is well versed in the history of the many place we selected to visit. Her talks on each stop provided information that helped us "see" the history which was greatly appreciated. Viewing while hearing the history is a great combination. She is very good at what she does and her ddedication to her work was evident. And an outgoing, generous, friendly personality, we had a a win.

Sara was so knowledgeable about Matera and showed us so much of the town. She was a brilliant guide on the day and so nice! Make sure you do a guided tour to really appreciate the town and its history

It was fabulous! We did positano, amalfi and ravello. Our guide Chiro was wonderful. He was very accommodating and let us know what to expect. He was very informative with all the history and was able to answer all our questions. I would highly recommend Guides of Italia.

Paolo is amazing. He knows Lecce better than o know my own neighborhood in Texas. He’s fun, energetic, and speaks amazing English. He handled our large group very well, everyone asked if Paolo was our guide on our next city. 100% recommend him!

Paolo is an expert on Matera and Lecce, he’s fantastic. We had a large group of 12 people, all of whom are English speakers and Paolo was great with communication. My whole group loved Paolo, his energy and enthusiasm, and his love of his work. I would recommend Paolo to anyone touring in southern Italy.

Paolo is outstanding. Matera and Valley of Itria knowledge made our trip so interesting. Lecce guide was boring snd not friendly. Ostuni guide was personable and very good. You should give commission to travel agents.

Paulo was a wonderful, charming, and entertaining guide. His extensive knowledge of Matera and surrounding area made our experience in Matera even better. I had my seven year old with us, and Paulo was amazing at involving him during the tour, accommodating all our needs. Thanks Paulo, the tour was a highlight on our trip.

Paolo is an excellent guide. He guided our group of 4 on private walking tours of Matera and Lecce and recommended that we stop at Grottaglie, a town known for its ceramics. Paolo is engaging and knowledgeable about the history, culture and food of the region. He provided great recommendations for restaurants and things to do during our stay. We would highly recommend Paolo!
