About Marco
You’ll be hard pressed to find someone more “local” than Marco. Born and raised in Sorrento, he’s lived here his whole life and the Amalfi Coast is truly his backyard.
Marco has spent the past 18 years as a driver-guide helping travelers from all over the world explore the hidden gems and secret places of his beautiful home region.
Aside from the stunning coastline, beautiful islands, green mountains, and charming towns and villages that dot the coast, Marco’s specialty is introducing travelers to the people that make this corner of the world so special. He knows someone everywhere - from the local fruttivendolo (fruit seller) in each town, to mom and pop restaurant owners, friendly boat captains, fishermen, and unique characters.
A proud dad, fanatic of Napoli FC, and avid volleyball player, Marco is a genuine and fun person to spend a day (or two!) with. He knows his region in-depth and loves helping his guests with recommendations and local favorites for restaurants, towns to visit, places to shop, bars, off-the-beaten path sights and experiences, and much more. He spends a lot of time eating and hunting down the best restaurants, so bring a pen in the car to jot down some notes!
Tours with Marco are fun, informative, casual, and most of all; local. You’ll explore the highlights, but also see places that many tours skip entirely. All tours are fully customizable and you can work with Marco to plan something unique to you.
Please note: Marco works with a small team of fellow drivers, so even if he isn't personally available, he can usually have one of his trusted colleagues cover for him.

A note from Marco
Ciao ragazzi, I'm Marco! I'm a driver-guide here on the Amalfi Coast, based in Sorrento; the same town where I was born.
It feels crazy to say it, but I've now spent almost half of my life showing visitors around my home region. I like to think I've learned a thing or two over two decades of touring and that I have at least a few secrets to share with you.
Although much of the Amalfi Coast is only one long (and narrow) winding road, I've got a few tricks that I use to help make exploring it the most pleasant possible, even in the height of high season.
