Meet Francesca, your local guide in Rome & Florence

Francesca is based in Rome, but she splits her time between the Eternal City and Tuscany, and she also regularly guides in Florence. She's been a licensed local guide for the past 10 years.

While she covers all the highlights, she also likes to run tours to lesser-visited neighborhoods, the Appian way, markets and food tours, and these cities’ countless secret places.

Part of what we love so much about Francesca's tours is that she knows how to make visits to unbelievably popular (and crowded) places like the Vatican, Colosseum, and Uffizi galleries feel personal and different. And she shares her practically limitless knowledge of history and art in a way that is causal and fun.
